Pensions

Compulsory contributions and pension requirements are looked at long term to enable fair rates towards pensions. The States pension fund must be protected at all costs.  A recent States debate ensured that the States Grant will remain at its current level, albeit reduced since the Zero 10 debate.  The States have a morale responsibility to continue assisting those on low income, this should not be reneged upon when times get tough.
