Expenditure and charges

Expenditure has been cut since Zero 10 with many being let down through broken promises resulting in delays of new schools & services.  Alongside this the increase of charges, and potential charges at the hospital for blood test and A&E are a possible example.  The States addressed the hospital charges a few years ago removing the barrier to access operations through financial ability, in the past those that could afford would be treated, others were unable or too frightened to have their operation owing to high costs.  We have an excellent scheme in place and long may that continue. 

Another area of disquiet was the removal of the school dentist as a free service, many saw this as retrograde step.
