Douzaine

I am a supporter of the Parish Douzaine and would like to see more appreciation given to these hard working volunteers who give of their time to each Parish. Sadly too few parishioners put their name forward to give some time for the benefit of our island community.   It has been suggested that some of the decisions within Government could, in future, be delegated to the Douzaines providing they have the appropriate support.  I welcome the Government and Douzaines working together in the future.
